Hi, I’m Michaela, founder and creative director of EmpaVis Media in Galway. After years working in UX, visual design, and digital media in the Health Tech world, I started EmpaVis Media to make health innovations easier to understand and share.
I saw how often great ideas got lost in translation or slowed down by confusion. So I set out to change that. Through programmes like CEED (with CREW Galway) and New Frontiers (with ATU iHubs and Enterprise Ireland), I’ve shaped EmpaVis Media to be accessible for all Health and Manufacturing Tech teams, for any project they are working on, at any stage.
My background isn’t the usual technical design path. I come from a human-first, creative angle. That means I focus on clear, engaging visuals that connect with people of all backgrounds and level of expertise.
